Maritza Bedolla
I am a proud Tyler native! I serve as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Mann Mortgage, where I help individuals and families achieve their dreams of homeownership. Outside of work, my greatest joy comes from being a devoted mom to two energetic boys, aged 6 and 4, and celebrating the milestone of a decade-long marriage with my loving husband.
My commitment to Tyler extends beyond my professional and personal life. I find immense fulfillment in giving back to my community, particularly in advocating for mental health awareness. Through volunteer work and community initiatives, I strive to foster understanding, support, and resources for individuals and families facing mental health challenges.
A fun fact about me
I won the “Junie B. Jones” Award in 5th grade for reading all the Junie B. Jones books our library had. My amazing teacher even bought additional books for her classroom just so I could have more to read.
Why I feel inspired to be a Woman Of Hope
I'm truly honored to be a Woman of Hope, as it allows me to raise awareness about the critical issue of sex trafficking in our community. Through my research, I've discovered that Hispanics are disproportionately affected, and I'm committed to shedding light on this important issue.
Community Involvement:
I serve as the Vice President of Mosaic Counseling Centers of East Texas and as a Committee Member of the ETMC Foundation Youth Mental Health initiative. Additionally, I'm an active member of Friendly Baptist Church and have previously served as a board member of the Hispanic Business Alliance.
