Our community training is designed to give community members an in-depth understanding of commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking with a focus on the East Texas area. Anyone is welcome to attend with no expectation to volunteer with For The Silent. For those interested in volunteering with FTS, this training is required.

A women's only duathalon benefitting For The Silent.

Produced by iTRI365 Timing & Event Production and presented by HealthFirst, the Diva Du is East Texas' first women's only duathlon at the charming vineyards of Kiepersol in Bullard, Texas. Challenge yourself with a beginner friendly 1.5 mile run - 10 mile bike - 1.5 mile run followed with light brunch of charcuterie, wine and local vendors to satisfy your pre-Mother's Day shopping! Bring out mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and any other wonderful woman in your life to enjoy the festivities!

Nightwalk for Hope

On Saturday, April 22, we will host its fourth annual Nightwalk for Hope, an awareness event shining a light on modern day slavery in east Texas. This family-friendly fundraiser will include free food, children's activities, music, and more. As the sun sets around 8:15pm we will conclude the night with a 2-mile walk on a section of the Rose Rudman trail. We will carry lanterns to light our way and to symbolize "hope in the darkness".
