Tesha Marsh

I'm proud to call Lindale, TX my hometown, having spent most of my life here. Family is at the heart of my world, with three extraordinary children, two of whom are now adults with families of their own, and my delightful nine-year-old daughter, P-Wee. I've been blessed with a total of eight grandchildren and bonus grandchildren, each adding immeasurable joy to my life.

A fun fact about me

My journey takes a unique turn with my businesses. As the owner of Teddy Bear Mobile - Smith County, I bring the joy of creativity directly to children across East Texas through fundraisers, birthday parties and other fun events. With my mobile fluff pump station, we embark on adventures of imagination, allowing children to stuff their own stuffed animals—a delight for both young hearts and those young at heart. Additionally, I'm proud to serve as a Texas Realtor with Dwell Realty, helping individuals and families find their dream home or next real estate investment in our vibrant community.

Why I feel inspired to be a Woman Of Hope

Beyond the realms of entrepreneurship and family, I find purpose in advocacy. Honored to be nominated as a Woman of Hope, I am deeply committed to raising awareness and educating the public about the perils of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. As a survivor myself, having been taken from Tyler over two and a half decades ago, this cause resonates deeply with me. It's vital to shine a light on the reality that these atrocities occur not only elsewhere but right here in our communities. I believe in using my voice as a survivor to inspire others to action, to support fellow survivors, and to show that there is life after trauma—a life filled with hope, healing, and the opportunity to make a positive impact.

Community Involvement:

Additionally, I am deeply involved in mentoring the youth at my church, Life Source Community Church in Lindale, where I dedicate my time on Wednesdays and have attended the youth camp for the past two summers and will attend a third time in June. Through this involvement, I am committed to helping lead our youth to a Christ-centered life, nurturing their spiritual growth and guiding them towards a path of purpose. Join me on this journey as we work together to create a safer, more compassionate world for all. Together, we can build a future where every individual can thrive, free from the shackles of exploitation and injustice.
