Bianca Smedley
I grew up in Tyler with dreams of becoming a police officer. This summer will be my 15th year with the Tyler Police Department. I am married to Joshua Smedley who is also a police officer and we have two beautiful children. I love spending time with my family and I also have a passion for lifting heavy weights and running daily.
A fun fact about me
I have competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting. In 2018, I got 2nd place in powerlifting at the Texas Police Games. This year I’ll be competing at the Tactical Games. I also love to decorate for events and own a Photo Booth business, Freeze Photo Booth.
Why I feel inspired to be a Woman Of Hope
As a community officer, I see the need to inform the community of this great organization. I want to inform the Hispanic Community about For The Silent.
Community Involvement:
I am involved in Special Olympics Texas, Texas Law Enforcement Torch Run, East Texas Crime Prevention Association, Coordinator for Tyler PD Comunidad, Mentor for the Public Safety Cadet Program and Hispanic Professional Association Of Tyler.
