Ashley Layne
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Layne. I was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. I am married to my greatest crush Jason of 18 years this June. We have one teenager, Hudson who is about to become a senior in high school this fall. We spend most of our free time being "Hudson fans" at his events. He is our sweetest blessing and greatest joy. Jason and I work together side by side in our family-owned and operated business, Tyler Trophy. Since buying the business in 2013 and partnering daily since 2017, we have learned a lot about each other! It's been pretty neat to work together. I love anything Optometry and Ophthalmology related, as that was my previous career of 18 years. The eyes are very interesting. I love to read when I have the extra time, workout, take Sunday afternoon spur- of- the- moment car dates with my family or friends, and encourage and disciple women in their personal relationship with Jesus.
A fun fact about me
When I hear music, it doesn't matter what genre it is, I immediately count the beats and began choreographing a dance routine in my head. I love Bingo. I geek out in Biology and love to edit written material. Lastly, I'm pretty good at winning puzzles on Wheel of Fortune (but from my living room at home) Ha!
Why I feel inspired to be a Woman Of Hope
I have hope for children and teens who have been mistreated, sexually wounded and abused, stolen, and sexually exploited. I have hope that they may be rescued from evil hands. My Lord Jesus has given me a heart and a passion to love and to help others. Child sex trafficking and child sexual exploitation stats are sobering, and we see them right here in Smith County. I have accepted the nomination to be one of the 2024 Women of Hope and partner with For the Silent as an ambassador to be a voice for the voiceless and raise awareness so they may have freedom soon. If people living in their communities do not know what to be aware of or how to help, the innocent victims remain victims. Please join me in my efforts by becoming a sponsor at any level or by donating any amount. Every dollar matters. Community Involvement:
We are active members of Rose Heights Church where we serve the Lord in many different areas. We are supporters and prayer partners of All Saints Episcopal School, Rock of Living Waters Ministries and Centrepoint Ministries. In our business, we have the privilege to serve East Texas schools, churches, organizations, nonprofits, small businesses, corporations, The city of Tyler, surrounding cities, and individual patrons. We support KTBB East Texas Teachers of the Month and Teachers of the Year, East Texas All Star Scholastic Athletes, and various other schools, organizations, and nonprofits. We are proud Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and BBB Central East Texas members.
