Projects
Our Aftercare Fund finances on-the-ground projects that bring hope to children rescued from lives of sexual slavery and exploitation. 100% of the money designated for the following projects goes directly to meeting the need of that initiative.
Boy's Counseling Project
A year-long, in-depth training program designed to train professional counselors on how to respond to the needs of male survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation in Cambodia.
Our partner organization, Chab Dai, will train caregivers, counselors, and staff from 12 different best practice organizations on how to give care specifically to boys who have been sexually abused. (This is the very first project of this nature in Cambodia.)
Total cost: $19,000
VideoAftercare Center Vehicle
We are funding a reliable 4WD vehicle for a For The Silent partner organization, Hagar Cambodia, working with girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking and exploitation.
This vehicle will be used to safely transport rescued children to school, church, home visits, medical and court appointments as well as family assessments and when children are reintegrated back to their families of origin.
Final cost: $17,800

The classrooms will each be 5.5m x 5m and will have a bathroom and storage space. There will also be an upgrade of desks, whiteboards and other school equipment.
