Prayer is communication. It makes a two-way connection between the heart of God and people on earth. It’s something that everyone can do, anywhere in the world, at any given moment. Prayer is a powerful force to change hearts, lives and circumstances. Prayer puts hope into words.

I want to pray for the silent

How can I be a part?

• Speak from your heart.

  It doesn’t matter if you’re on your knees for an hour or say a quick prayer at your desk! Commit to pray for silenced children from your heart. “Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:22)

• Join us in prayer.

  Send us an email at pray@forthesilent.org and let us know you’re praying. We will send you requests and updates by text or email. We are believing for 5,000 to join us in prayer by the end of 2009. Whether praying alone or with others, you’re part of a large network to see justice!

• Be in the know.

  Check the website for prayer requests and updates. Read suggested resources about child sex trafficking and exploitation to stay informed about the issues. If you have questions or something to share, let us know!

• Pray.

  Your prayers give a voice to children silenced by sex trafficking and exploitation. “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” (James 5:16b)
